Dear Scouts and Parents,

On November 7-8, BSA Troop 352 will be conducting a Rifle Shooting Merit Badge "camp." This two day event will follow a similar time-frame as the Archery camp that was held in September. Here's the details:

Friday, November 7, 2:30-6:00pm

Scouts need to bring P150 for supper (we'll be ordering pizza again). Please be sure they bring this on November 7. If desired, you can send this in early and see that it is given to Mr. Book in the Information Technology Services office.

Saturday, November 8, 9:00am-1:00pm

Scouts need to bring their own packed lunch.

Prior to this camp, scouts need do the following:

1. Obtain a Blue Merit Badge Card from Mr. Book. The "Application for Merit Badge" portion must be filled out BEFORE the camp. This includes getting Scout Master Dave Parshall to sign the card.

2. Download and print the Rifle Shooting Merit Badge Workbook. As you complete number 3 below, complete the workbook. BRING this workbook with you to the camp...it will be checked. Click here to download the workbook.

3. Read the Rifle Shooting Pamphlet. To download an electronic copy for reading, click here.

Lastly, on Friday at around 3:00pm, we have a special guest coming to share with the scouts. Mr. Roy Candelaria, a member of the Philippine Olympic Rifle Shooting Team, will be joining us to share his Olympic story, give the scouts some rifle shooting safety tips, and will conclude by sharing some shooting tips with the scouts.

Don't miss this chance to earn another Merit Badge on your quest for the Eagle!
